Renewable Energy Assurance Ltd (REAL) is aware of a dispute between HIES and MCS over proposed changes to the over-arching MCS Installer Standard MCS 001-1. REAL is not a party to any discussions about this matter. We are therefore not able to comment on the dispute.
REAL is committed to working with all parties to drive up standards and to remove complexity from the small-scale renewable certification and approval process, while ensuring that robust consumer protection remains at its core.
