From 1 October, the biomass tariff of 7.14p/kWh has reduced by 10% to 6.43p/kWh for all new RHI applications. This follows DECC’s announcement on 28 August that the biomass ‘degression trigger’ had been passed.
The tariffs for air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps and solar thermal are not affected.
